Is your clutch pedal sticking to the floor when you drive your car aggressively? Are you having trouble shifting your car quickly in the upper RPMs? Are 1st Gear and Reverse hard to engage while the car is sitting still? You’re not alone!
GM did not want to replace transmission and driveline parts under warranty, so they designed a very weak, anemic clutch master cylinder barely capable of moving enough fluid to fully disengage the stock clutch in perfect working order. With years of wear (and/or an aftermarket clutch that requires more fluid to disengage), the inadequacy of the GM Master Cylinder becomes even more apparent.
Our Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are built here in the USA around Tilton 7/8” Bore Cylinders (the same used in NASCAR every Sunday) and are made adjustable so that you can tailor the amount of fluid that your system needs in order to fully disengage ANY clutch, from stock to hardcore race-only clutches. With our kit installed, you’ll notice:
Every Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kit ships complete with everything needed to install, including our Unrestricted and Heat-Wrapped Stainless Braided Clutch Hydraulic Line (eliminating the need for the "drill mod"), all necessary hardware, and easy to understand instructions. Installation generally takes 60-90 minutes and adjustments can be made at any time without any tools.
Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are capable of more fluid flow than any competitor’s offering, and we stand behind them with a LIFETIME Warranty against leakage. Rest assured that with our kit installed, you'll have the quickest shifting, most reliable kit available under your left foot!

Option Guide: Do I need a GM Quick Disconnect Tool?
A special tool is NOT necessary in order to remove & reinstall the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting that mates your hydraulic clutch line to your slave cylinder, but it does make the task a bit easier (and reduces the risk of damage) versus using a screwdriver or universal tool. The GM Quick Disconnect Tool that we offer is specifically designed for use with the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting.
All Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are warrantied against leakage for the entire time you own yours! If you develop a leak, simply send the kit back with a copy of your invoice and the cylinder will be replaced or repaired and shipped back to you via Ground free of charge. Our warranty is void when used in non-original ("swap") applications.

As a broke college kid, it was hard to get the reason to buy this but I'm really happy I did. It is a night and day difference. Shifts so much smoother at low and high rpm. No more notchiness in the shifter. Highly recommended it.

Tight to install but worth every minute it took to install and bleed, no more soft pedal ,no more sticking , shifts from gear to gear smooth as can be , the tick master cylinder is a must have in any t56 equipped fbody , I had a weak pedal now it pushes like the south bend in my 08 cummins , clutch has never worked so good thanks tick

I could not get the car in gear at idle with the stock 4th gen master. I had to hammer the wheel well some to fit it, but this is not made for a 3rd gen. This master works great!

Purchased my tick my master an put it in the other day very impressed all around is a bit of a pain to put in an bleed and adjust to your preference a very finess master but worth every penny especially when you race from a dig quite frequent no more sticky pedal

I installed this in my 02 Camaro SS and what can I say.. a huge difference. My shifts are smooth as butter. I wished they would have include a new reservoir to complete this package. Don't buy the GM quick disconnect tool as it doesn't work. Instead I had to use a flat head screw driver. If you want to only replace your master clutch cylinder once this is the one to get. It will not let you down. Yes its a bit hard to push in the clutch, but it makes me feel as if I'm driving a race car now :)

02 transam ws6. Tranny rebuild, new center force clutch and tick master. Everything works great install was not to bad (tight but defiantly doable) I also have long tube headers that made it a little tighter but I didn't have to take anything apart. Just waiting to brake my clutch in a little more then I can play with the adjustments. But right she is thighs and bang on. Totally worth it

Been putting off the purchase of this master cylinder for a while. Not so smart on my part. Install went as expected from all the reviews I've read. The pedal feels awesome, a little stiffer but shorter and faster engagement. I was pretty sure I had burnt up my clutch at the track 2 weeks ago but now it feels brand new again.

Getting the tick performance adjustable master cylinder not only improved my shifts. It eliminated high RPM 'dead pedal' 100%, and also improves the shifting with the stock shifter to an aftermarket point.
So buy the tick adjustable MC and essentially you get the flow to never have another clutch problem of dead pedal, and it saves money you'd normally want to spend on an after market shifter.... unless of course i've just got the #DriverMod.
