Option Guide: Do I need a GM Quick Disconnect Tool?
A special tool is NOT necessary in order to remove & reinstall the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting that mates your hydraulic clutch line to your slave cylinder, but it does make the task a bit easier (and reduces the risk of damage) versus using a screwdriver or universal tool. The GM Quick Disconnect Tool that we offer is specifically designed for use with the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting.

If you develop a leak, simply send the kit back with a copy of your invoice and the cylinder will be replaced or repaired and shipped back to you via Ground free of charge. I have had this car since 2009 and really since day one I really never like how the clutch pedal felt.it felt spongee,almost on the floor and sometimes you would have to lift it back up with your foot.could not shift in the upper RPMS . So really I was thinking that it was more than just clutch master cylinder well anyways I went and picked one up from Napa. Well then I started reading up on it and there were a lot of the same problems people were having and they were saying how the Tick master cylinder worked for them so I said this has got to be the solution and damn it was I am so glad I purchased it. It was worth every bit of it.you can just look at it and see the quality verses the stock Gm ones. GM needs to take lessons on this on.if you like you car the way it is now you the buy tick you will love car for sure.

Spending over $300 for a master cylinder seemed very stupid to me originally. However after considering g the clutch and transmission I am running I decided to go for it. This thing performs so much better than I anticipated. So worth it and I would gladly do it again

Couldn't shift into 1st or reverse or power shift at high rpms. After installing the tick master I've had no problems.

My issue was not being able to shift fast/quick above 5K+ to 2nd and 3rd gear, I had a Mccleod master previously and I still had this issue with it not wanted to go into gear above 5k+
Installed the tick , wasn't too bad of a install since I've replace a couple leaky mccleod masters in the past. Anyways got it bled , nice firm pedal, nice engagement, shorter pedal about even with brake pedal. Went for a test drive got in the upper RPMs 6400 and it went into gear smooth as butter. I couldn't believe it . I've been dealing with this issue for 5+ years. Very pleased Thanks.

Took a bit of time to get it in the car, but the results exceeded my expectations by far. Eliminated sticky clutch totally. Shifting even at redline was buttery smoothness. I couldn't be happier.

Installed this with a stage 2 monster, monster 28lb flywheel, arp hardware, and a new gm slave and speed bleeder from tick in a 02 SS Camaro. After 1000 miles the lightweight flywheel would have been nice, but I don't regret anything in this setup.
Bench bleed this before you install, then bleed again after install! With some finesse it dropped in place and bolted up fine. Several write ups online if you search. Also, you'll need to adjust your cruise control bracket that touches the clutch pedal due to the shorter clutch travel.
Pedal IS stiffer, in part due to the clutch combo, but the clutch feels and shifts way better than factory. This is a must for all performance drivers. Can't thank tick and monster enough for their awesome customer service and staff. Heads and cam next...

Hands down the best master cylinder on the market . Before I got it I couldn't hardly get my car in reverse or downshift at all I thought my new clutch was junk after in installed my adjustable master cylinder from tick it was like a whole new clutch great pedal very easy to shift and it practically falls into gear.

As a broke college kid, it was hard to get the reason to buy this but I'm really happy I did. It is a night and day difference. Shifts so much smoother at low and high rpm. No more notchiness in the shifter. Highly recommended it.

Tight to install but worth every minute it took to install and bleed, no more soft pedal ,no more sticking , shifts from gear to gear smooth as can be , the tick master cylinder is a must have in any t56 equipped fbody , I had a weak pedal now it pushes like the south bend in my 08 cummins , clutch has never worked so good thanks tick

I could not get the car in gear at idle with the stock 4th gen master. I had to hammer the wheel well some to fit it, but this is not made for a 3rd gen. This master works great!
