Option Guide: Do I need a GM Quick Disconnect Tool?
A special tool is NOT necessary in order to remove & reinstall the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting that mates your hydraulic clutch line to your slave cylinder, but it does make the task a bit easier (and reduces the risk of damage) versus using a screwdriver or universal tool. The GM Quick Disconnect Tool that we offer is specifically designed for use with the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting.
All Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are warrantied against leakage for the entire time you own yours! If you develop a leak, simply send the kit back with a copy of your invoice and the cylinder will be replaced or repaired and shipped back to you via Ground free of charge. After rebuilding my T56 and installing a Spec 3+ I didn't get to enjoy my new setup long before the stock master cylinder bit the dust. The tick master cylinder was just what the doctor ordered and can I say, I am extremely impressed. Installation was a little tricky thanks to GMs engineering but once it was nestled in behind the brake booster and all of the air was bled out (using the tick speed bleeder of course) my camaro was alive. Adjustment was a breeze, making a rotation here and there until I could easily get into reverse.
I definitely recommend this to anyone who has a f-body with the stock restrictive clutch master cylinder.

Does just what it is advertised to do. Eliminates all the hassles of the stock master cylinder. Replaced original Master cylinder with a Duralast MS after installing Stage 2 clutch and new GM slave from Tick couldn't get car in any gear while idling. Was going to pull the trans AGAIN :( to recheck the throw out bearing clearance. Instead I decided to try the Tick Master cylinder based on reviews and Ticks claims. Again Tick comes through with a great product. I am so glad I found Tick Performance. Great people!

Easy to install, clutch pedal feels great. I made the mistake of installing a Monster stage 3 clutch and using the stock master cylinder. The stock master cylinder failed within 700 miles of installing the clutch. I would recommend installing the tick adjustable master when installing a new clutch!

Can't believe I didn't do this sooner. No more grinding shifting at high RPMs. Even shifting over 6k is smooth as butter now. If you have a 6 speed you need this, end of story.

I was starting to have a problem where my clutch pedal was completely sticking to the floor. I'd have to lift it up with my toes and pump it a few times to get pressure back into it. I was going to just bleed the system and see if it worked, but I figured I'd upgrade my master cylinder in the process.
Installed it yesterday, drove it around some yesterday and all of today. I really can't express how happy I am with this product! The shifting is insanely smooth and much more responsive. I would go as far as to say this is a MUST HAVE for my fellow f-body owners. I feel like I'm driving a whole different car with this thing on, a much more badass one!

Product worked just as described. The clutch pedal sticking and slow shifts drove me crazy, but after I installed this master cylinder I can chirp third gear with ease. This master cylinder made my camaro a whole new car.

Install wasn't as difficult as expected; didn't need to pull anything but the old master to get the Tick in. Nothing like being able to adjust pedal feel for a finicky driver. Pedal is stiffer but firm and responsive.
