Is your clutch pedal sticking to the floor when you drive your car aggressively? Are you having trouble shifting your car quickly in the upper RPMs? Are 1st Gear and Reverse hard to engage while the car is sitting still? You’re not alone!
GM did not want to replace transmission and driveline parts under warranty, so they designed a very weak, anemic clutch master cylinder barely capable of moving enough fluid to fully disengage the stock clutch in perfect working order. With years of wear (and/or an aftermarket clutch that requires more fluid to disengage), the inadequacy of the GM Master Cylinder becomes even more apparent.
Our Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are built here in the USA around Tilton 7/8” Bore Cylinders (the same used in NASCAR every Sunday) and are made adjustable so that you can tailor the amount of fluid that your system needs in order to fully disengage ANY clutch, from stock to hardcore race-only clutches. With our kit installed, you’ll notice:
Every Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kit ships complete with everything needed to install, including our Unrestricted and Heat-Wrapped Stainless Braided Clutch Hydraulic Line (eliminating the need for the "drill mod"), all necessary hardware, and easy to understand instructions. Installation generally takes 60-90 minutes and adjustments can be made at any time without any tools.
Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are capable of more fluid flow than any competitor’s offering, and we stand behind them with a LIFETIME Warranty against leakage. Rest assured that with our kit installed, you'll have the quickest shifting, most reliable kit available under your left foot!

Option Guide: Do I need a GM Quick Disconnect Tool?
A special tool is NOT necessary in order to remove & reinstall the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting that mates your hydraulic clutch line to your slave cylinder, but it does make the task a bit easier (and reduces the risk of damage) versus using a screwdriver or universal tool. The GM Quick Disconnect Tool that we offer is specifically designed for use with the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting.
All Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are warrantied against leakage for the entire time you own yours! If you develop a leak, simply send the kit back with a copy of your invoice and the cylinder will be replaced or repaired and shipped back to you via Ground free of charge. Our warranty is void when used in non-original ("swap") applications.

Its an awesome replacement. Was a little difficult to install, but ones in, no regrets. Just takes patiens. Works like a champ. Had to buy a longer bolt because it wouldnt reach the thread. Just one of them. That could of been the way it was installed though. But all in all, a vary good product. Clutch engadges right away. Nice and solid and short. Good good product.

I would advise to cover up the threads on shaft before installing, messed mine up when installing. Other than it being hard to get to, product does it job great!

Tick has hit the nail on the head with this product! I finally reached my limit with missed shifts and bought the Tick clutch master cylinder for my 2000 TA. It now shifts like a dream! Installation takes some patients, dont force it in, just keep rotating it and wiggiling the wiring harness and it will fit. I installed it by myself but an assistant will make it easier to get the bolts in. I bench bled it before install and it required minimal bleeding. Overall i have 2300 miles on the master cylinder and I couldnt be happier with it and its american made! Thanks Tick Performance!

Looking on this site I see every one of my shifting problems described. This unit was a bit of a pain to get into place, but it's worth the effort! The difference in the smoothness of the shift is unbelievable. The most recent issue I had was the crashed pedal when I was 80 miles from home. In my opinion, GM should have to provide these TICK clutch masters as a free warranty fix for their piece of junk master cylinder!!! Thanks TICK...your product is golden!

I love this new master cylinder! Old master cylinder was engaging the clutch too high and i didnt like it, so i bought this one hoping it would deliver... and it does! Engagement point is right off the floor and is pretty stiff. Only problem i had was getting the old master cylinder out, and the Tick MC didnt exactly line up with old holes. top bolt is a little crooked but no big deal. 5 out of 5.

Put this mc in last week. Adjusted as instructed, drove it once, gave it aliittle more adjustment (less then 1/2" below brake pedal) and its a whole new car. The aftermarket mc I put in (mcl-139001) less than 30,000 miles ago started to fail, even when it was new it never came close to your mc. The feel of clutch & consistancy of its engagement tells me I don't have to wonder about my next gear change at any RPM! Love you guys

Easy to install, comes with a tips and tricks sheet. Easy to adjust and works excellent.

The feel of my clutch now is like driving a muscle car with the stiffness of a mechanical linkage, and the smooth even engagement of hydraulics. No wonder why everyone is nuts over this thing. The only thing I have to add is before you try moving the wiring harness their is a clamp that the harness needs to be unhooked from between the firewall & shock tower, also in the same area as the clamp look for a small two wire harness that comes out of the bottom of the harness otherwise you might get the MC hung up on it. I did. 2002 SS

Don't wait any longer to get one of these. I needed one for one of my 2002 Camaros. What a difference, like night and day. I'm pissed that I had settled for the sub-standard factory setup for eleven years. Ordering a second one for my other Camaro. Had a local shop do the install on the first, but they didn't do the adjustment. Clutch didn't engage until all the way out. 15 minutes of adjustment cured that. I can't remember the last time I was so happy with a purchase. Maybe a little pricey, but it is worth every penny.
