Option Guide: Do I need a GM Quick Disconnect Tool?
A special tool is NOT necessary in order to remove & reinstall the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting that mates your hydraulic clutch line to your slave cylinder, but it does make the task a bit easier (and reduces the risk of damage) versus using a screwdriver or universal tool. The GM Quick Disconnect Tool that we offer is specifically designed for use with the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting.
All Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are warrantied against leakage for the entire time you own yours! If you develop a leak, simply send the kit back with a copy of your invoice and the cylinder will be replaced or repaired and shipped back to you via Ground free of charge. Our warranty is void when used in non-original ("swap") applications.

Holy S%*t, Y I didn't do this mod first kills me. Prolly would have saved some life on the tranny to. I can actually drive it like I want to now. I'm so happy now & to b honest I almost wanted to switch to a auto (shame on me for even thinking that).

I didn't think this was worth buying and thought I needed a transmission rebuild. Let me tell you I threw one of these bad boys in and all my problems have been solved. Thanks again tick performance.

Wow...its seriously like cutting butter every time I shift..even at high rpm with some good numbers. Simply amazing and I would personally like to say thank you to tick for simply being awesome.

This thing if absolutely fantastic. The build quality is 1 million times better than factory. The peddle is perfect even with alittle bit of air in the system I'm still bleeding. Took it out last night for the first time to row through the gears and it was amazing. I'm so used to a dead peddle that it honestly surprised me when the peddle was still up and stiff and ready for action. Now i have to learn how to drive my car fast again.......darn :). Thanks to Tick for fixing the long standing issue with the 4th Gens. Couldnt be happier, anyone hesitating on buying this because of price, just wait another month and pull the trigger. Completely worth it.

Easily the best upgrade I have done to my 2000 Z28! It took me about 6 hours to install by myself, 2 of those hours were just staring at my car trying to figure out how the hell the Tick MC was going to fit in there! After all the forums and research I did there was no question I was going to buy a Tick Master Cylinder! At first I thought the price was a little high but when I got it installed and took it for a drive, I was ready to buy another one just to put it on display! I bled the MC before I installed it and didn't bother bleeding the slave and have no problems! If you're looking at this product just buy it and be ready to kick yourself for not making it the first aftermarket part you installed on your car!

From the day I bought this 98 Trans Am I have fought with the clutch problem! I couldn’t shift into reverse without shutting the engine off! I had the chance from the beginning to buy the Tick Master but the price always drove me away.. After changing Two Master cylinders (to gm and doing the “drill mod”), two slave cylinders, and the clutch (I swapped the clutch, master and slave all at the same time) I still had the same issues. After installing the tick mc all my problems went away! I never write reviews, but after the frustration I went through, I can only hope this will save another m6 owner a lot of headache! I did have a problem with waiting on shipment, but tick made it right.. well worth the wait!!

Tick MC was used on my 02 WS6 M6. Solved the horrible sticky clutch problem, highly recommend this product. Most of the time was spent removing the stock MC. Bench bleeding the Tick MC before installing it back is the way to go. I bench bled the tick then just connected back to the slave without bleeding the slave after install. Everything worked great and clutch feels firm like stated. I'm really happy with the outcome. Total install time spent for me was 3 hours (including interior). And this is the first time I install a part like this.

I used the master cylinder on my 68 charger with t 56 magnum
I was going to use it on my 84 monte SS but I will buy the kit again for my monte it worked out awesome!
