Is your clutch pedal sticking to the floor when you drive your car aggressively? Are you having trouble shifting your car quickly in the upper RPMs? Are 1st Gear and Reverse hard to engage while the car is sitting still? You’re not alone!
GM did not want to replace transmission and driveline parts under warranty, so they designed a very weak, anemic clutch master cylinder barely capable of moving enough fluid to fully disengage the stock clutch in perfect working order. With years of wear (and/or an aftermarket clutch that requires more fluid to disengage), the inadequacy of the GM Master Cylinder becomes even more apparent.
Our Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are built here in the USA around Tilton 7/8” Bore Cylinders (the same used in NASCAR every Sunday) and are made adjustable so that you can tailor the amount of fluid that your system needs in order to fully disengage ANY clutch, from stock to hardcore race-only clutches. With our kit installed, you’ll notice:
Every Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kit ships complete with everything needed to install, including our Unrestricted and Heat-Wrapped Stainless Braided Clutch Hydraulic Line (eliminating the need for the "drill mod"), all necessary hardware, and easy to understand instructions. Installation generally takes 60-90 minutes and adjustments can be made at any time without any tools.
Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are capable of more fluid flow than any competitor’s offering, and we stand behind them with a LIFETIME Warranty against leakage. Rest assured that with our kit installed, you'll have the quickest shifting, most reliable kit available under your left foot!

Option Guide: Do I need a GM Quick Disconnect Tool?
A special tool is NOT necessary in order to remove & reinstall the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting that mates your hydraulic clutch line to your slave cylinder, but it does make the task a bit easier (and reduces the risk of damage) versus using a screwdriver or universal tool. The GM Quick Disconnect Tool that we offer is specifically designed for use with the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting.
All Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are warrantied against leakage for the entire time you own yours! If you develop a leak, simply send the kit back with a copy of your invoice and the cylinder will be replaced or repaired and shipped back to you via Ground free of charge. Our warranty is void when used in non-original ("swap") applications.

Tick MC was used on my 02 WS6 M6. Solved the horrible sticky clutch problem, highly recommend this product. Most of the time was spent removing the stock MC. Bench bleeding the Tick MC before installing it back is the way to go. I bench bled the tick then just connected back to the slave without bleeding the slave after install. Everything worked great and clutch feels firm like stated. I'm really happy with the outcome. Total install time spent for me was 3 hours (including interior). And this is the first time I install a part like this.

Just like most of the reviews on here- I was blown away by the Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder. I was extremely hesitant about purchasing the product, because it's not the cheapest, and I don't race my car. In fact, my 02 SS Camaro, Build #1338, has 23,000 miles on the odometer and it's completely stock. Well, that was until I purchased and installed this item.
Installation wasn't as bad as I thought it would have been. I'll be the first to admit that comparing the two cylinders side by side, I would have never thought that the Tick would have fit. However, I was proved wrong. The instructions inform you that you may have to move a wire harness that runs along the frame; I did not, so I may have been lucky. But what I did do was loosen all 4 nuts for the brake booster so I could move the booster about an inch. I also removed #7 Spark Plug Wire as well. Once the cylinder was down underneath the brake booster, it slid right into place.
My wife was inside of the car starting the bolts and directing me on which way to move it. Just like the instructions stated, she was able to start the lower one first, by hand, and then we concentrated on the second bolt. Everything else went back together with ease! I bench bled the cylinder before installation, so bleeding it was really easy and fast.
The clutch feels amazing!! Now, I don't shift the car at high RPM's, and I've never taken my stock LS1 over 5,500 RPM's but the clutch no longer sticks the floor, and the shifts are perfect. I couldn't be more happier!!
As my title reads, I'd recommend this product to anyone that has a GM T56 6-Speed, no matter what type of car it is!! It's worth every penny!!
The last thing I was to say to Tick Performance is- Thank You for the Military Discount and Thank You for all you do for our Service Members!! Those that wear the uniform with Pride, Truly Appreciate the discount!!

Well I just got done installing my new tick and was able to spin the motor to 7k and it shifted so fast! Before anything over 5-5.5k. It would have just locked you out so say. That's a 325.00 well spent to get to run the car the way it was built.
Thanks for designing a great product!

Its an awesome replacement. Was a little difficult to install, but ones in, no regrets. Just takes patiens. Works like a champ. Had to buy a longer bolt because it wouldnt reach the thread. Just one of them. That could of been the way it was installed though. But all in all, a vary good product. Clutch engadges right away. Nice and solid and short. Good good product.

I would advise to cover up the threads on shaft before installing, messed mine up when installing. Other than it being hard to get to, product does it job great!

Tick has hit the nail on the head with this product! I finally reached my limit with missed shifts and bought the Tick clutch master cylinder for my 2000 TA. It now shifts like a dream! Installation takes some patients, dont force it in, just keep rotating it and wiggiling the wiring harness and it will fit. I installed it by myself but an assistant will make it easier to get the bolts in. I bench bled it before install and it required minimal bleeding. Overall i have 2300 miles on the master cylinder and I couldnt be happier with it and its american made! Thanks Tick Performance!

Looking on this site I see every one of my shifting problems described. This unit was a bit of a pain to get into place, but it's worth the effort! The difference in the smoothness of the shift is unbelievable. The most recent issue I had was the crashed pedal when I was 80 miles from home. In my opinion, GM should have to provide these TICK clutch masters as a free warranty fix for their piece of junk master cylinder!!! Thanks TICK...your product is golden!

I love this new master cylinder! Old master cylinder was engaging the clutch too high and i didnt like it, so i bought this one hoping it would deliver... and it does! Engagement point is right off the floor and is pretty stiff. Only problem i had was getting the old master cylinder out, and the Tick MC didnt exactly line up with old holes. top bolt is a little crooked but no big deal. 5 out of 5.
