How does it work?

- 2) Fill it out as completely as possible (it shouldn't take more than a few minutes, no worries) and either fax it or scan and e-mail it back to us
- 3) You'll hear back from a member of our staff within 24 hours
- 4) If one of our Elite Series Camshafts isn't what we'd suggest for you, we'll provide you with a custom camshaft number (example: TPMSCC-00001)
- 5) Click "Buy Now" on this page, and enter the number we provide you with into your order notes during checkout
That's it! We'll do the rest. COMP Cams and Cam Motion grind all of our custom camshafts and then ship directly to you, the customer. This process generally takes 2-5 business days. You'll be updated via email as soon as your tracking number is available! As always, contact us with any questions you may have.
NOTE: Due to the application-specific nature of Custom Camshafts, we do not accept returns on them. Once an order has been placed, our manufacturers begin the grind immediately and as a result, your order cannot be canceled.

Excellent custom cam
Let me start off by saying that buying an off-the-shelf cam makes no sense when Tick Performance and cam expert Martin Smallwood will design a custom cam for you at the same price. The design will take into account your specific engine details, stall speed, car weight, and most importantly your goals and preferences. I'm very active on ls1tech.com (as "mrvedit") and read nothing but praise for Tick Performance.

Martin is amongst the gods of cam speccing. He's known nationwide and has innovative lobes that beat the outdated off the shelf stuff any day of the week. Best of all, he designs it just for you. Your needs. Your goals. Not what the general populus might want. He is, and always will be, my go to guy for anything cam (and for that matter anything LSx) related. Thanks again bud. - Brian

best customer service you could ask for
Martin took a lot of time and spec'd me an awesome cam, he answered questions via Facebook after hours, and helped in every way, he not only told me what would be best, he backed his reasons with facts. He is very thorough in his explanation as to why you should or should not do things a certain way. I cant rave enough about what a wonderful experience I had, I will never purchase another shelf cam unless martin says thats the best one. Tick performance, give this man a raise!
