Our Elite Series of Camshafts are all manufactured by Cam Motion and are updated with a new version every time an advancement in valvetrain technology becomes available, so they're ALWAYS cutting-edge! Although we suggest measuring for piston-to-valve clearance during ANY camshaft install, every Elite Series Camshaft is designed to fit in a stock engine & stock heads with adequate clearance unless otherwise noted. This Tick Performance STOCK Converter Camshaft was designed for LS3 & L99 owners that do not wish to install an aftermarket stall converter. This cam is very unique in this regard, as most if not all aftermarket camshafts require some sort of looser stall converter. By keeping the overlap low we have designed a camshaft that can be idled at the stock idle RPM, thus allowing the stock converter to be utilized! This camshaft will not work in vehicles equipped with VVT or DOD. If your vehicle still has these systems, they will need to be deleted at the time of the camshaft install (parts sold separately.) We strongly suggest the use of our Tick/PAC Dual Valvesprings and hardened pushrods with this camshaft (also sold separately.) Hundreds of hours were spent developing this camshaft to perform precisely the way we advertise, so as a result, changes to the LSA or any other specification of this camshaft are not available.
