Suggested for applications that will see high RPM abuse often, especially when used with the bigger camshafts offered as part of the Elite Series!
Timing Chain Upgrade: $44.99 (GM Chain) or $149.99 (Katech Chain)
Replacing the timing chain with the GM Upgraded version is smart no matter the application. Stepping up to the Katech Chain is a good idea for applications that will see high RPM abuse often.
Oil Pump Upgrade: $94.99 (GM Standard Volume) or $104.99 (GM High Volume)
Suggested as a hard rule at 50,000+ miles, upgrading your oil pump is smart while doing a camshaft swap because it is easily accessible.
Comp Cams LS Rocker Arm Trunion Upgrade: $214.95
This Comp Cams LS Rocker Arm Trunion Upgrade replaces the cageless, loose OEM needle bearings and powdered metal trunion with a premium 8620 steel alloy trunion and caged roller bearings for added durability. This new design utilizes caged roller bearings that greatly reduce the possibility of the bearing failure experienced with stock LS needle bearings, which can send loose needles throughout the engine upon failure.
