Stock replacement GM Slave Cylinder & Throwout Bearing for 1998-02 Camaro & Firebird / Trans Am, LS1 Engines, Part #24264182. If you're removing the transmission for any reason, make sure you replace the slave cylinder while you've got everything apart. The weak link in the factory hydraulic setup is the master cylinder, so there is no need to upgrade your slave - just keep it fresh. Now is a great time to upgrade to our Tick Performance Remote SPEEDbleeder Line, as well!  Former GM part number 15046288.

This unit may be used as a cheaper replacement for 2004-06 Pontiac GTO Slave Cylinders, as well.  Using this F-Body slave in that application simply requires that you swap the fittings over from your stock slave cylinder onto this F-Body unit.  Aside from the fittings, the cylinders themselves are the same.

This slave cylinder is the best GM revision (01+ style) and comes with throwout / release bearing.

Option Guide: Do I need a Remote SPEED Bleeder Line?
No, the Remote SPEED Bleeder Line is not required for proper install and function, but it is certainly convenient! Our Tick Performance Remote Clutch SPEED Bleeder Line makes bleeding your hydraulic system a "One Man Job" and stays installed on the car so you can quickly, easily bleed your hydraulic system as often as necessary. This line requires transmission removal to install, so installing when you're installing the Slave Cylinder is your best bet! Available either simply included in your package or installed on your slave cylinder prior to shipping.

Option Guide: Do I need a Slave Cylinder Shim Kit (3 Pack)?
When replacing any clutch or slave cylinder in any newer GM performance application, proper geometry is key to a high-functioning, quick shifting setup. You absolutely should measure to see if a shim is necessary - every single time! Having this Clutch Slave Cylinder Shim Kit on hand during your install will make sure you aren't held up if during your measurement, you do find that a shim is necessary. You can see read all the details about shim measurement on the product page, here.

Option Guide: Do I need a GM Quick Disconnect Tool?
A special tool is NOT necessary in order to remove & reinstall the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting that mates your hydraulic clutch line to your slave cylinder, but it does make the task a bit easier (and reduces the risk of damage) versus using a screwdriver or universal tool.  The GM Quick Disconnect Tool that we offer is specifically designed for use with the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting.
