THIS IS THE KIT YOU'VE HEARD THE RAVE REVIEWS ABOUT! Since their creation, the stock clutch hydraulic system has plagued C5 Corvettes. Shifting quickly at high RPM is extremely hard (in some cases even impossible), especially when using a beefy aftermarket clutch. Getting into first gear or reverse sitting still is sometimes a chore! The clutch pedal sticking to the floor is all too common, as well.
By combining our expertise with expert tuner and mechanical engineer Alvin Anderson (of PCMForLess) as well as employing a few concepts used by multiple NASCAR teams here in the Mooresville area, we developed an adjustable master cylinder kit that effectively and reliably solves all of the problems that have plagued these cars in the past.
Our Tick Performance Adjustable Master Cylinder Kit ships complete with everything needed to install, including: our custom Tilton Adjustable Master Cylinder, our Unrestricted and Heat-Wrapped Clutch Hydraulic Line (eliminating the need for the "drill mod"), all necessary hardware, self-stick template for drilling, and easy to understand instructions.
Our Adjustable Master Cylinder successfully flows more fluid than any other master cylinder available, makes clutch disengagement issues a thing of the past (with ANY clutch), uses a simple turnbuckle adjustment system and installs in 60-120 minutes. We also warranty these kits against failure for the entire time you own yours.
Rest assured that with our Adjustable Master Cylinder Kit installed, you'll have the quickest shifting, most reliable kit available under your left foot.
Option Guide: Do I need a GM Quick Disconnect Tool?
A special tool is NOT necessary in order to remove & reinstall the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting that mates your hydraulic clutch line to your slave cylinder, but it does make the task a bit easier (and reduces the risk of damage) versus using a screwdriver or universal tool. The GM Quick Disconnect Tool that we offer is specifically designed for use with the GM Quick Disconnect Fitting.
All Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are warranted against failure for the entire time you own yours. If you develop a leak, simply send the kit back with a copy of your invoice and the cylinder will be replaced or repaired and shipped back to you free of charge. Our warranty is void when used in non-original ("swap") applications.

The Tick Performance adjustable clutch master cylinder did exactly what it claimed to do! It fixed my inability to shift my Z06 at high rpms! It's like my car "woke up"! The engineering was clearly well thought out and the instructions were easy to follow. Well worth every penny I spent! Thanks to your entire team!

This master cylinder is basically a necessity if you do any type of performance driving. It's only a matter of time before the factory cylinder issue presents itself. This cylinder provides immediate response to pedal input and has a very mechanical feel. After proper adjustment I can feel the throw-out bearing with very light pedal pressure.
Does exactly what it should....and what others have said, the template could use some work. I had to grind down the head of one of the bolts and shave a bit of metal off of the clutch pedal assembly in order to provide a proper fit. Don't expect this to bolt-in in the two hours that are stated. However, it's worth the effort. 4-stars for this reason. Would be 5 otherwise.

Car is a 97 C5 with only 58k on it. Was having the 4th gear grind but it seems to have stop it higher up the rev range. I suspect because of the Plastic pile that Chevy used was contributing factor to the 4th gear synchro issue in the Early C5. Slow reaction to your left foot? This unit makes it shift better with immediate almost a mechanical connect to the Clutch Slave Cylinder (Like the Good Ol days.) Well worth the most 100.00 difference IMO. I do my own work and upgrade since I don't have to pay the MD rates for labor today. Was pretty tough to do however. Give yourself more than 2 hours they say it takes, believe me take your time and give yourself 5-6 hours. Hardest part was getting the clutch pedal out. Very tight under there. With a lift 120 min. might happen or if you have done this several times. Still would no doubt do it again.

Earlier this season, for the first time since I've owned the car, I started having the clutch pedal stick to the floor in my C5 during high-RPM shifting at the track. This is a low-mileage 02 Z06 that I use primarily for HPDE duty and driving to/from the track. It still has the original clutch and is on street tires. I never was happy with the feel of the stock master so I ordered the Tick unit as well as an LPE return spring to get me through my next couple of track days until I could get the Tick unit installed.
The LPE return spring did it's job, but I could tell that the pedal was still sticking and it was the return spring that would pull it up. I could feel the split second delay and then the pedal would hit the bottom of my foot. This was better than nothing, but not the real solution in my opinion. Also, the added weight of the clutch would get tiresome in stop-and-go traffic.
Finally I was able to get the Tick master installed and WOW what a difference. This is the hydraulic setup that should have come from the factory. I had a few questions on the adjustment, but Eric got right back to me and I got it set up the way I like. I've had two long track days since and the pedal sticking is ancient history. Clutch feels fantastic and since I don't have to worry about pulling the stupid pedal off the floor coming into turns I can now focus on more important things like driving! Thanks for an excellent product.

The Tick Performance adjustible clutch master cylinder is definitely worth the expense. This has completely changed the way the clutch feels. Shifting is like night and day.

The Tick Performance adjustable clutch master cylinder works great! I did have an issue with alignment holes for the mounting bolts and needed to be a contortionist to remove and reinstall the clutch pedal. Other than that the upgrade was worth the effort!
