Our Elite Series of Camshafts are all manufactured by Cam Motion and are updated with a new version every time an advancement in valvetrain technology becomes available, so they're ALWAYS cutting-edge!  Although we suggest measuring for piston-to-valve clearance during ANY camshaft install, every Elite Series Camshaft is designed to fit in a stock engine & stock heads with adequate clearance unless otherwise noted. "SNS" stands for Saturday Night Special, because this camshaft is going to turn every head at the weekend cruise-ins!  The torque curve produced by the SNS torqueMAX Stage 3 is down-right insane and you’ll be blown away by the shape of the curve from this larger sized cam.  It will pull cleanly to 6800-7000rpm if need be, but shifting at 6600-6700rpm is recommended.   We strongly suggest the use of our Tick/PAC Dual Valvesprings and hardened pushrods with this camshaft (sold separately.)  Hundreds of hours were spent developing this camshaft to perform precisely the way we advertise, so as a result, changes to the LSA or any other specification of this camshaft are not available.

    Made 415rwhp through an auto with 3600 converter. Very happy !!! I'm rootin for TICK PERFORMANCE from all the way down under.

    I picked up this cam on Martin's recommendation for my setup, and I couldn't be more happy with the results. Power is available everywhere in the RPM band, with a nice strong punch around 3,000 where it really wakes up and pulls HARD to my 6,600 rev limit. Drivability manners are really very good also. (6 speed LS1 with OEM 3.42 gears). I only get slight bucking at 10mph and less. I imagine the recommended gears would take care of that.
