Matt the Product Development Manager at Tick Performance went to 3V Performance to test a new lightweight design for both steel and titanium retainers. The Spintronic machine at 3V Performance allows Matt to do some real-world valvetrain simulation of wear and tear for the redesigned valve spring retainers.

With this new design, we’re able to offer the lightest LS dual spring retainer on the market. These will be offered in H13 steel and 6AL4V titanium, and as always the raw material is sourced from American mills, and all seats, retainers, and soon locks are made here in North Carolina.
