UMI's 403256-3 a-arm kit adds 1.4 inches of much needed spindle height and includes Delrin lower a-arm bushings and adjustable rod end uppers, making this our ultimate a-arm kit. This kit is for the handling enthusiast who wants the ultimate camber gain geometry while maintaining the ability to use a factory spindle. The lower a-arms feature tough tubular construction with polyurethane spring isolators for ride comfort and greaseable UMI-manufactured Delrin bushings for ultimate handling, smooth bind-free suspension motion and a sporty ride. The 0.5" taller-than-stock lower ball joint lowers the front of the car 1/2", reduces factory bump steer and adds spindle height. The ball joint mount is angled slightly from stock to permit usage with lowered vehicles and the design offers additional tire clearance. Delrin bushings maintain alignment with precision while providing the ultimate in friction free movement. The tubular upper a-arms are assembled with smooth operating, race quality rod ends as well as UMI-built billet Chromoly cross shafts. They feature a relocated mounting pad to increase caster and are loaded with 0.9" taller upper ball joints to improve camber performance. In most cases, no shims will be required (depending on parts combination and chassis straightness). Both upper and lower a-arms are jig built to maintain accuracy for a perfect fit every time and come preloaded with premium ball joints. Critical areas are TIG welded for superior strength and a clean look. UMI's extensive testing on the street, drag strip and skid pad ensures a quality product able to with stand all types of conditions. The ultra tough red or black powder coat finish guarantees your performance parts stay beautiful on your street car, drag car, autocrosser or Pro-Touring machine.
