Since their creation, the weak factory clutch hydraulic system has plagued all of the newer GM performance oriented cars (especially the GTO). Shifting quickly at high RPM is extremely hard (in some cases even impossible) especially when using a beefy aftermarket clutch. Getting into first gear or reverse sitting still is sometimes a chore! The clutch pedal sticking to the floor is all too common, as well.

By combining our expertise with expert tuner and mechanical engineer Alvin Anderson (of PCMForLess) and employing a few concepts used by multiple NASCAR teams here in the Mooresville area, Tick Performance has developed an adjustable master cylinder that will effectively and reliably solve all of the problems that have plagued these cars in the past. Our new Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kit ships complete with everything needed to install including our custom Tilton Adjustable Master Cylinder (that flows a TON more fluid than your stock unit), our Unrestricted and Heat Wrapped Braided Stainless Clutch Hydraulic Line, all necessary hardware, and easy to understand instructions.

Best of all, our kit does not require transmission removal to install and it eliminates the poorly designed factory rubber clutch line! For an average do-it-yourselfer, our kit should take 90-120 minutes to install.

Option Guide: Slave Cylinder Type?

With the popularity of the Tilton Adjustable Slave Cylinder we have decided to offer a line that will connect directly to it. You will simply need to choose if you are planning to run your OEM slave cylinder or the Tilton slave cylinder. Your choice will determine what line we include with your kit.

All Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kits are warranted against failure for the entire time you own yours. If you develop a leak, simply send the kit back with a copy of your invoice and the cylinder will be replaced or repaired and shipped back to you free of charge. Our warranty is void when used in non-original ("swap") applications.

    Took it to my mechanic to install and when i got it I notice that 1 and reverse worked way better than the stock one

    Was having trouble with the lockout at high rpm, brand new clutch and slave, master was stock, this master is an absolute pain to install. But all in all, having your car function the way it should is priceless. Thanks again Tick! Happy to be #TeamTick

    Great product as always. Install was very detailed and all parts where there. I do wish it accepted the monster steel braided clutch line. (Which fits stock clutch master cylinder but is different thread pitch the tick adjustable, but the line tick comes with works just fine!!
